The Interactive Diary of Nathan Adler (Demo)
"The Interactive Diary of Nathan Adler" is an expanded interactive adaptation of David Bowie's 1995 album '1. Outside". It is intended to evoke what such a game might have been like, had it been produced contemporaneously with the album.
What is currently available is a demo of roughly the first 30% of the planned full game. Both HTML (in-browser) and downloadable PC builds of the demo are available. Please note that all music in the demo is temporary placeholder tracks, and will be replaced with an original soundtrack in the full game. Any and all feedback (or bug reports) are welcome. Release window for the full game is currently TBD, but updates will be shared here. Stock image credits available in the downloaded version.
Quick note - you can also use the ` key (directly below escape), or the Delete key, to open the pause menu (useful in the browser version to avoid leaving fullscreen mode).
CONTENT WARNINGS: Contains mentions or depictions of non-consensual drug use, human and animal mutilation, and involuntary imprisonment.
No generative AI of any form was used in the creation of this project, nor will it be in the full game.
